Batman: the Movie review

Zero Magazine (1989): "There's a bit of time wasted in pointless disk accessing, but this doesn't affect the playability of the actual game, though, and this is where Batman is outstanding. A well thought out adaptation of the movie, and brilliantly programmed to boot. Every batfan should have a copy. Go and invest in a copy this instant or the jokers on you."

Retro gamer collector's corner:

Commodore UK reached an agreement with Ocean Software to bundle the game with Amiga 500 computers. Between October 1989 and September 1990, A500 machines were sold in the United Kingdom in Batman-themed boxes containing the game and The NewZealand Story, as well as F/A-18 Interceptor and Deluxe Paint II.
