Retro gamer collector's corner:

After Outcast was released, developer Appeal published a series of short films on its website, called "Outcast Outtakes", which were also included on the DVD version of the game.

In 2001 Appeal developed a sequel, called Outcast II: The Lost Paradise, which was never finished due to bankruptcy.
