Police Quest: Open Season is adventure game set in North America designed by Tammy Dargan, Daryl F. Gates, developed by Sierra On-Line and released by Sierra On-Line in 1993. Police Quest: Open Season runs on DOS, Windows 3.x.
Police Quest: Open Season is part of the Police Quest game series.
Used to love this game. Although, given the copies of the LAPD's regulations/policies, makes the game a little 'LESS' realistic.
Now, if they included the 'real' regulations; the official 'officer-only' version given by Daryl Gates himself, I might believe it.. However, there is no mention of that one protocol that involves the, "thorough beating of an unarmed motorist(s), followed by the sprinkling of crack rocks in said motorist's car", when actively profiling the minorities in your community.
Other than that, the game is top notch!
