Abandonware DOS title

Star Crusader

Star Crusader is an abandoned science fiction first-person 3D space combat simulator, developed by Take-Two Interactive and published by GameTek in 1994 for both DOS and Amiga platforms. In the game, you must choose which side to fight for: the authoritarian Gorenes or the rebel alliance. Your choice determines the ships at your disposal, the missions you undertake, and the storyline that unfolds.

Star Crusader review

Next Generation Magazine (1995): "Star Crusader is lacking in originality, but has gameplay with all the depth of Wing Commander III: Heart of the Tiger and considerably less 'fluff', thus making the game accessible to the many players who either do not have PCs powerful enough to run Wing Commander III or simply have no interest in that game's cinematic elements."

Retro gamer collector's corner:

In 1995 a CD ROM "Talkie" version was released.
