The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind review

Computer Gaming World (2002): "The Elder Scrolls Ill: Morrowind is one of the most ambitious roleplaying games ever, combining the story of a single-player game with the intriguing exploratory aspect of an MMORPG. It’s the kind of game you imagined when the genre was in its infancy, when mono chrome blobs and boxy mazes seemed to have limitless potential. There are problems with sonic fundamental mechanics, but Morrowind offers a huge world of interesting paths and choices, and its faults just serve as occasional reminders that it’s only a game."

Retro gamer collector's corner:

The Elder Scrolls III: Tribunal was released on November 6. Tribunal puts the player in the self-contained, walled city of Mournhold, the capital of the province of Morrowind.

The Elder Scrolls III: Bloodmoon was released on June 6 2003. It expands the game's main map to include the untamed island of Solstheim located to the northwest of Vvardenfell.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Game of the Year Edition was announced May 12, 2003, and released October 31 of the same year. It compiled both the Tribunal and Bloodmoon expansions, along with patches available only for the PC release, plus a variety of minor quest and item add-ons, and offered them up in one single package for both PC and Xbox platforms.
