Game company profile: Thalion
Thalion Software was a German video game developer and publisher founded in October 1988 in Gütersloh by Erik Simon and Holger Flöttmann, both prominent figures from the Atari ST demoscene. The company's mission was to create technologically advanced games, primarily focusing on platforms like the Amiga and Atari ST.
Thalion struggled to achieve significant commercial success. By the end of 1994, the company ceased operations as key developers departed. After Thalion's closure, co-founder Holger Flöttmann went on to establish another video game company, Ascaron.
